FaiRate is a facilitator platform that helps you compare and initiate money transfers executed by third-party partners. We act as an intermediary technology platform, not a bank or money transmitter.
2. No Use by Minors
The Service is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.
3. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will indicate the effective date in-app and may notify you via email.
4. Information We Collect
- Registration & KYC: Name, contact details, date of birth, address, nationality; ID document and selfie for identity verification, as required by law/partners.
- Beneficiaries & Transactions: Recipient details, amounts, currencies, reason for transfer; transfer metadata (date/time, status, fees, exchange rate).
- Payment Information: Cardholder name, last four digits, tokenized references; bank account identifiers (e.g., IBAN). Full card numbers/CVV are not stored by us.
- Device & Usage: IP address, device identifiers, OS, app version, pages/screens viewed, session metrics via cookies/SDKs.
- Permissions: Camera (KYC), Location (fraud checks/UX), SMS (OTP auto-fill, if enabled), Contacts (only if you opt-in to import).
5. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and operate the Service, process transactions, and show quotes from partners.
- Verify identity and comply with AML/CFT and sanctions obligations.
- Communicate about transactions, security alerts, and service notices; send marketing only with your consent.
- Improve performance, reliability, and UX using aggregated analytics.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, and protect users and the Service.
