FaiRate – Terms of Use

FaiRate lets you compare and initiate money transfers offered by licensed third-party providers (“Partners”). We are an intermediary technology platform; we do not hold customer funds or execute transfers. The Partner you choose performs payment, FX, and delivery.

• You must be 18+ and legally capable of entering contracts.
• Provide accurate registration details and maintain only one account per person unless authorized.
• Complete identity verification (KYC) when requested; failure may limit or block access.
• Keep your credentials secure and notify us of any suspected compromise.

1. Enter transfer details to receive real-time quotes (fees and rates) from Partners; quotes may change until confirmed.
2. Choose a funding method (card/bank). By confirming, you authorize us and/or the Partner to charge the indicated amount.
3. Transactions may become irrevocable once processing starts. Contact support immediately for issues; cancellation is not guaranteed.
4. We may apply limits and checks for legal and risk reasons. Do not attempt to circumvent limits (e.g., splitting transfers).

• Fees are disclosed before you confirm. Some fees are charged by the Partner; we may charge a small service fee when disclosed.
• If FX conversion applies, the rate shown at confirmation is used if you fund promptly; rates are volatile and not guaranteed beforehand.
• Receiving institutions may charge additional fees beyond our control.
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

• Illegal or fraudulent purposes, including money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions violations, or tax evasion.
• Providing false information or using payment instruments without authorization.
• Operating remittance services for others or reselling the Service without consent.
• Interfering with the Service (malware, scraping, reverse engineering, or security bypass).
• Transactions related to prohibited goods/services under applicable law or Partner rules.

• Partner terms may apply to your transaction. A Partner may decline or require additional steps.
• We are not responsible for third-party content (e.g., rates) and may correct errors when identified.

The Service and its content are owned by Sh.Y. Business Management and Entrepreneurship Ltd. or licensors. We grant a limited, revocable, non-transferable license for personal use. Do not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, legal requirements, or risk reasons, including suspected fraud or illegal use.

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
• We do not warrant the availability, speed, or outcome of transfers executed by Partners.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of ILS 500 or the fees you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date, and we may notify you in-app or via email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in Tel-Aviv-Yafo, Israel.
